Delete your Sanatan AI account

In the app

• Open Sanatan AI and sign in.
• Go to You, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more.
• It happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Without the app

Email hello@sanatanvichar.com with the subject Delete my account, from the email address on the account or with the phone number it uses. We check that the account is yours, delete it within 7 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in: phone number, email, name and photo
• Your conversations with the guides
• Saved verses, likes, bookmarks and favourites
• Practice history, streaks and progress
• Your preferences: languages, guide, daily goal and notifications
• Japa counts never leave your phone. Deleting the account in the app clears them; so does uninstalling the app.

What is kept

Usage events — which screens were opened, whether a practice was finished — stay with our analytics provider under an ID that no longer leads to anyone. They never held your name, phone number, email or anything you wrote.

Database backups, kept to recover from an outage, roll over within 7 days. Nothing else is kept.
